Joan Kolodzik, MD, FACEP, chairs the National Clinical Governance Board for US Acute Care Solutions. Previously, she served as National Director of Continuing Medical Education and Executive Director for the Center for Emergency Medicine Education.
Board certified in emergency medicine, Dr. Kolodzik is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and a member of the Ohio Chapter. She is past president of Ohio ACEP and served on the council and steering committee for ACEP.
Dr. Kolodzik also is an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, and also serves as clinical faculty for the Ohio University Medical School.
Dr. Kolodzik earned a master's degree in human anatomy and her medical degree from Wright State University School of Medicine, where she also completed her emergency medicine residency.
