Christopher Wyatt MD, FACEP
Interim Program Director
Medical School: Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine
Residency: Case Western Reserve/MetroHealth Medical Center
Chris Wyatt, MD, is the Program Director for Dell Medical School's Emergency Medicine Residency and an assistant professor in the Department of Surgery and Perioperative Care. Previously, Dr. Wyatt served as academic faculty at MetroHealth Medical Center for nine years, where he was highly involved in medical student and resident education.
In the summer of 2018, Dr. Wyatt was given the opportunity to join the residency leadership in Austin and jumped at the chance to be involved with such an innovative program with an amazing group of residents and faculty. As an Ohio native, the thought of not having to shovel snow ever again also was a bonus.
He earned his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Case Western Reserve/MetroHealth Medical Center.
In his free time, Wyatt likes to explore the outdoors as well as the Austin food and music scene, vacation in Mexico and spend time with his three closest residency friends, his unofficial nieces and nephews and his godson, who also live in Austin.
