Dr. Marc Futernick, MD, is the National Director of Sustainability for USACS. He joined the practice in 2011 as the medical director of emergency services at California Hospital Medical Center (CHMC), a trauma center and the oldest hospital in Los Angeles. He serves on the board of directors of the California chapter of American College of Emergency Physicians. His current focus is to improve the quality of care offered to patients with psychiatric emergencies.
He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and his medical degree from Tulane University Medical School. He completed his emergency medicine residency at the University of California, San Francisco-Fresno.
