NEW PARTNERSHIP FOCUSES ON IMPROVING QUALITY TO ENHANCE CLINICAL OUTCOMES, PROCESS EFFICIENCIES, AND PATIENT SATISFACTION
 

(CONCORD, CALIFORNIA, USA) Dignity Health – Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center (GMHHC) has selected VEP Healthcare (Operating as US Acute Care Solutions as of June 2021) to manage its hospitalist services.

The group has a proven track record of improving hospitalist services in major urban, smaller community, and rural hospitals nationwide. They collaborate closely with partner hospitals to improve core measure compliance, meet targets for patient length of stay and for care protocols and outcomes across specific disease categories, such as Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder (COPD), congestive heart failure, diabetes, sepsis, pneumonia, and more. Their hospitalist solutions also focus on enhancing hospitals’ patient admission and discharge procedures and on fostering multidisciplinary care protocols.

Established in 1926, GMHHC is accredited by The Joint Commission, the leading accrediting body for health care organizations in the US. GMHHC is a 334-licensed bed facility with 1,000 employees, approximately 500 physicians from all major specialties, and a dedicated team of 400 volunteers. As part of Dignity Health, the hospital offers a full range of services, including the Colorectal Surgery Institute, the Marcia Ray Breast Center, emergency care, cardiovascular services, orthopedic and spine care, and more. GMHHC is a 2019 Five-Star Recipient in Cardiac, Gastrointestinal, and Orthopedic procedures, following this year’s evaluation from Healthgrades®.

Dr. L. Anthony Cirillo Elected American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) President-Elect

US Acute Care Solutions Names Dr. Tanveer Gaibi Regional Vice President of East Division

With a diverse leadership background spanning rural, urban, and tertiary care academic centers, Dr. Gaibi has been a key contributor in USACS' business development endeavors across the East Division.
