US Acute Care Solutions Names Dr. Matthew Patlovany President of Southwest Region

AUSTIN, Texas, October 8, 2018 – US Acute Care Solutions (USACS) today named Matthew Patlovany, MD, FACEP the President of its Southwest Region effective January 1, 2019.
Dr. Patlovany most recently served as a Vice President of USACS Southwest, a position he also occupied at Emergency Service Partners (ESP), a founding group of USACS. Before that, Dr. Patlovany served as chief medical officer of Emergency Physicians Affiliates in San Antonio.
A board-certified emergency physician, Dr. Patlovany is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.
Dr. Patlovany said, “I am very excited for the opportunity to lead my colleagues in Texas and Oklahoma. I am grateful for the trust our physicians, APPs and non-clinical employees have afforded me, and together we will remain singularly focused on our mission: To care for patients.”
Matt has the respect of his peers and the confidence of his hospital partner administrators. I too have respect for his clinical acumen and confidence in his leadership. The prospects for continued growth in the Southwest Region remain as strong as ever.

Dr. Patlovany earned his bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He completed his residency training in emergency medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where he served as chief resident.

Dr. L. Anthony Cirillo Elected American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) President-Elect
