Sunny Wang, MD, FACEP, has been with USACS since joining one of the legacy groups directly out of residency in 2011. Dr. Wang was the medical director for Rookwood Medical Center for two years then became the medical director and department chair for Mercy Anderson in Cincinnati, OH. She also served as the regional scheduler for all eight Mercy Health sites in Cincinnati for over two years.
Dr. Wang is a strong believer in finding a work-life balance and enjoys speaking with residents about being a working mother. In the spirit of honoring her work-life balance, Dr. Wang took a one-year sabbatical, between August 2020-July 2021, and witnessed first-hand how Taiwan navigated the pandemic. She enjoys teaching clinical skills/procedures and finding new tips and tricks to help make standard procedures more efficient.
Dr. Wang received her MD from Duke University and completed her residency at the University of Cincinnati.
